DIRECTOR & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Craig has worked with people with disabilities since 1987 in various roles with the WA & Queensland government and with NGOs. Craig believes that people with disability deserve to have a place that they call their own home just like everyone else and is committed to make this happen. Craig is aware that the journey to get a home can start well before it happens and that things shared and learnt on the journey ensure the home is crafted to the person’s likes, needs and desires.

Karen has worked in financial administration and management for over 25 years and has experience in several business sectors including education and disability support. Karen has personal family experience of the challenges of living with disability and truly understands how important it is that supports are crafted to suit the unique requirements of each and every participant, so that everyone has the opportunity to live the life of their choice.

Lee has worked in both the Disability and Aged Care Sectors for Government and Non-Government. Over recent years Lee provided training and development services as a Consultant to smaller Disability Services. In 2016 Lee joined the Community Resource Unit as a Consultant to deliver Information Sessions about the National Disability Insurance Scheme throughout Queensland as part of the Participant Readiness Initiative. From 2004 until 2016 Lee held the position of Local Area Coordinator on the Sunshine Coast with Disability Services, Department of Communities. Prior to this Lee worked with the Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre to support Carers. Lee is passionate about creating change and working with possibilities.

Katrina is a respected Autism Specialist and Developmental Educator with over a decade of experience in the field of autism. She has significant professional and personal understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and has also received recognition for her efforts in the field of autism, with a Griffith University Academic Award – for her postgraduate studies at the Autism Centre of Excellence (ACE). Katrina is passionate about understanding, supporting and building capacity for young people with additional needs reach their full potential.

With over 15 years’ experience as an Enrolled Medication Endorsed Nurse in Victoria and processing a true passion for quality care and support for those who need it most, Lyn looks forward to maintaining a connection to the Coast through her role with Crafted Independent Living, after returning to Victoria to continue working in the healthcare sector after two years on the Sunshine Coast.
